  • American Australian Association Limited Request for Proposal to Australian Universities to host United States Studies Centre

Monday August 7, 2006 - The American Australian Association ('AAA Australia') recently sent Vice Chancellors at all Australian universities a Request for Proposal ('RFP') for universities interested in hosting a proposed United States Studies Centre ('the Centre'). As previously announced, establishment of the Centre is a joint initiative with the Australian Government which has already committed funds of AU$25 million towards the proposed Centre. The Australian Government funding is subject to sufficient additional funds being provided by the private sector and/or State/Territory governments. More...
